About Caroc Leather

Hello my name is Keith Preece, I was born in a mining village in Staffordshire. I now live in Nottinghamshire where my company Caroc Leather is based. Caroc Leather produces hand stitched quality bespoke leather goods.

I have been hand stitching leather for 10 years I don’t use hand stitching awls as I stitch leather in the traditional way, I use a saddle stitch which is known for it’s strength and durability.

Caroc Leather produces two ranges of products the first being goods made from Bridle Butt and Harness leather, I mainly use Sedgwick’s a company which produces fine leather for the saddle industry and has a reputation for quality and finish. The second range of products are made from tooling leather this allows us to carve designs and dye the products. Although we have our designs, we also take on commissions and cater for our customers needs, where all our goods are individually hand made to the highest standards.
